Not that there's only three verses or sections in the Bible, who talk about concerns and needs. There are many more. But in the New Testament are Matthew 6:25-34, Philippians 4:6-7 and 1 Peter 5:7 probably the best known. This last verse is framed by two other verses that I like to quote with: 1 Peter 5:6-8:
Sun humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God now,
so that he may exalt you in due time!
all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Be sober, be vigilant! Because your adversary the devil,
goes around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour;
interesting, has framed the context in which the Lord verse 7. Verse 6 asks us to humble ourselves under God's hand. Make sure to give is for many an indignity. As supply and welfare in God makes us this promise - and a humiliation is understood. We often do much better by yourself. We believe that a sleepless night would bring some help. We do not let go, to solve problems, regardless of the best people and God. Although God may answer our prayers and blessing, "but to humiliate us and leave our worries him that is not always easy. Especially if we're not sure that He does in our sense.
Sometimes we have to be broken, our pride, our ego, our ideas, which we hold. God must accept that we go home tired and dry. Sometimes we move only to the point where We are willing to humble us.
But it does not take that long. If we are willing to trust him - if we accept that his solutions are the best for our concerns and that it is not necessary to help him - we may come at any time. Vs. 7 still holds a different thought. Our concerns are yes (sometimes) real concerns. They are almost always "felt real" problem. God tells us here by Peter that "ensure" that goes on, even if we have given it.
our worries - if given to God - to be God worry! They are then no unresolved in any corner of heaven and grow to himself. We give out of our hands into the hands of God. We laid off - out of our hearts, into the heart of God. Although we have given them, somebody still cares. But this "someone" is God. And which is already finished. Or, as Mary C. Crowley says:
Every night I give God my worries
He is up all night anyway..
